Console access Locked
The admin token is held in memory for this browser tab only.
It is kept in a JavaScript variable while the console is unlocked, sent with each
request, and wiped when you press Lock or close the tab. It is
never written to localStorage, cookies, or the URL.

Testing an event — the whole sequence
- Create a session below with “This is a TEST session” ticked. Give it its own slug (e.g.
season-1-forge-02-maze-test) and set Initial status: open — adraftis not returned by the listing API, so it will not appear in the table above. - Make it the current session — tick “Make this the current session immediately”, or select it under Manage a session and press Set as current. The public portal goes quiet at this moment, and that is expected: the public listing filters test sessions out, so the portal and leaderboard page report no active event at all until a real session is current again. The game is unaffected — it reads the current session directly.
- Play it. The game binds to whatever is current at the moment the player presses Play, so a run already in progress stays on the old session — changing “current” mid-run does nothing to that run.
- Verify: scores land on the test session’s own leaderboard, which the public portal does not list and which the stats exclude.
- Set the real session current again before the venue opens — the public portal returns the moment you do. This is the step people forget, which is why the amber TEST LIVE banner stays pinned to the top of the console until it is done.
- Delete the test session in the Danger zone under Manage a session — type its slug to confirm. Deleting a test session with results does not need the force acknowledgement.
Test sessions are fully playable and behave exactly like real ones. They are only hidden from the public portal, excluded from the engagement stats, and shown here with an amber TEST badge.

This session is cancelled — and that is reversible
Cancelling only blocks runs and submissions; nothing was deleted. Reopen it and it is playable again, with its runs and leaderboard intact.

Danger zone
Cancel stops runs and submissions but keeps everything, and can be reopened from the recovery panel above. Delete is permanent — the session, its runs and its leaderboard are destroyed and cannot be brought back.

Reset their password
This never sets a password. It issues a single-use link that expires in 60 minutes and supersedes any previous one — the player chooses their own new password.
Erase this player — permanent
Deletes their credentials, sessions and tokens, and anonymizes the account to a tombstone. Their completed runs are kept and shown as “Deleted Player”, so the leaderboard stays honest. This frees their email address for re-registration. It cannot be undone.
Update a player
Identify the player by email or numeric user ID. Leave a field blank to leave it unchanged. Cooldown overrides clear the 7-day change timer so the player (or you) can set the field again immediately.

Download a report
Every figure is defined once, in the signed-off metric dictionary, and each workbook prints the definition beside the number. Times count completed, accepted runs with a real recorded time only — so a fast loss can never appear as a record. Empty results show an em dash rather than a zero.
Printable leaderboard
Builds a clean top-N table below and opens the print dialog. It is designed to be legible with “Background graphics” switched off, which is the browser default — so it prints correctly without changing any print settings. Untick “Headers and footers” in the dialog to remove the page URL from the margin.

Delete event session — permanent
This destroys the session row, every run recorded against it and its whole leaderboard. There is no undo and no backup taken. If you only want to stop play, close the dialog and use Cancel session instead — that is reversible.
